Who Runs Main Street Brewery?

While I was discussing our reunion with our contact, Nancy Nelson at Main Street Brewery, she mentioned that their previous business was Anderson's Outpost out on 29 north of town. Well, I was pretty excited because I had stopped in their a few times for dinner on my way through Alex, and it was very pleasing food and beverage!

Apparently they saw moving their restaurant and lounge business into the Old Broadway location as a wonderful opportunity, and I hope that it is, since our class will be there on Saturday evening, September 24!

Let us know if any of you have been to either Anderson's Outpost or to the new Main Street Brewery!

Reunion Schedule is Set!

Plans have been nearly completed for the JHS Class of '66 Reunion to take place in Alexandria on September 23-25. Make your plans now to join us for Homecoming weekend.

Friday, September 23: 7:30 pm

We'll be gathering at Bug-A-Boo's (http://bugaboobaymn.com/) at 7:30 pm. For those of you travelling from out of town, arrive whenever you can. This will be an informal gathering of our class, and I'm sure many will be showing up early for a bite of dinner beforehand.

Saturday, September 24
12:00 Noon - We'll represent the Class of 66 in the Homecoming Parade through Alex.

12:30 pm - Tailgating at the JHS parking lot. This is a community event, so we will reserve space.

3:00 pm - Cheering our Cardinal football team to victory!

7:00 - 10:00 pm - Class Reunion at Main Street Brewery (formerly Old Broadway) in the upstairs room with hors d' oeuvres for $15 per person and a cash bar. (http://www.mainstreetbreweryalexandria.com/)

I'll include our Sunday, September 25 brunch and golf plans (for those interested) in the next blog post.
